It been a while since I updated this site and many things have happen since last.
We went to the Main Event at Santa Pod with great expectations, but as they say "same procedure as last year" it rained out.We managed to make a run and it ended up with an broken gearbox.Sunday afternoon it was still pouring down , so we decided to go play some bowling with Martin Bishop and his crew, he also got some help from the crew of Cris Hope. The Scandinavian team who managed to crush them included team members from RG Engineering , Tommy Möller and Team Bikeline.
After the Main Event it was time for MMR Nationals at Meca Raceway in Malmoe, after the qualification Ögge was in the lead position with an ET of 4,952.In the semifinal Ögge was up against Frank Heitman, and again we struggled with gearbox problems. In the other semi Brian was up against Anna-Lena Asplund and after a hard and tight race ,Brian won.. So to the final Brian went but he forgot to re charge his starting wagon, so the winner was Frank Heitman.ouch that hurt :o(.
Then it was time for the yearly trip to Le Mans, a week with a lot of racing, good food and many many laughts.Weather was great and temp sometime went over what i could manage, so no alcohol consumed but a lot of water.Friday evening weather changed from 28 degrees down to 5 degrees during night time and i woke up in the morning sick and with a cold. It was just to take a hot shower cause today we should bring a lot of the time at the track.After the race finished sunday we could again conclude that the danes once again manage to reach the podium. Tom K finished 1st for the eight time, Jan Magnussen finished second in the Corvett . If nothing comes in between i´ll be back next year.
This weekend i have been with BG Racing in Luckau at the Grand Nationals.Here we struggled with tyre spin and wheel vibrations , track was prepared for cars and not for cycles with this kind of power. We had to put a pin in the gas handle to pull down some power from the engine. This was a succes as we manage to go faster and also get a better ET. Brian made it to the final where he was up against Cord Albers as he have been plenty of times before.
Brian ended as the winner , so we went home with smiles on our faces as this was the second win in a row.Next week end we will be in Drachten and Team Bike Line will be in Piteå . See ya on the track. /Nanno
